In the industrial city of Erdenet, the Czech Crown microbrewery officially opened its doors in a festive ceremony attended by both local and international guests. This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without CONTECHIN GROUP, the exclusive Czech supplier of complete brewing technology, Czech raw ingredients, and restaurant equipment for a venture that is Czech at heart and in flavor.

Czech Crown – A Czech Microbrewery with Big Ambitions
Behind the project stands the Mongolian investor Pamir Orgil, who sought to bring the uniqueness of Czech beer and cuisine to Mongolia.
“We built the brewery with a capacity of four 1000-liter tanks and a 500-liter brewhouse. All ingredients—malt, hops, and yeast—are imported directly from the Czech Republic. The local water is treated to match Czech brewing standards, so that the taste aligns with the Pilsner style,” said Miroslav Švejda, representative of Pamir Orgil.
The project also includes a cozy restaurant with 60 seats, offering not only Czech beer but traditional dishes such as grilled pork knuckle, ribs, mushroom soup, homemade meatloaf, or the legendary “chicken à la duck” with dumplings and sauerkraut.
CONTECHIN GROUP – Czech Quality, International Reach
From the very beginning, CONTECHIN GROUP was a key partner in the project. Not only did the company provide the technological infrastructure and ingredient logistics, but it also supplied the restaurant with Czech beer glasses and taps specially designed for proper pouring according to Czech tradition.
“We’re proud to have brought a piece of the Czech Republic to Mongolia. Czech Crown is proof that tradition, integrity, and great taste speak a universal language,” said Bořivoj Minář, representative of CONTECHIN GROUP.
The company continues to support the brewery’s future expansion – plans include the construction of an adjacent hotel and event hall for larger cultural events. Distribution of Czech Crown beer to Ulaanbaatar and Darkhan, Mongolia’s two largest cities, is also being considered.
Popularity Exceeds Expectations
“A week after opening, it’s clear there’s huge interest in Czech beer and cuisine among Mongolians. Our guests keep coming back, and we’re already considering expanding production,” the investor added with a smile. “Our goal is to preserve the quality and character that defines true Czech beer.”
Conclusion? The Czech Touch Tastes Great in Mongolia
If you find yourself in Erdenet, Czech Crown Brewery is a must-visit. Taste authentic Czech beer with grilled pork knuckle, mustard, horseradish, pickles, and bread—and see for yourself why this little Czech kingdom in the heart of Mongolia is winning over so many hearts.
Cheers and enjoy!
